KAYSVILLE – Marion June Wade Dredge passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 21, 2016.

She was born June 23, 1937 in Malad, Idaho the daughter of Lawrence B. and Pearl Bunderson Wade.  June resided in Kaysville for the past 57 years.

June and Jesse Richard Dredge Jr. were married 60 years ago on March 16, 1956 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Her great love for the Savior was manifested through her faithful service as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving as a visiting teacher, an instructor in Primary,  Young Women and Relief Society, as a Stake Primary and Young Women President and Ward Relief Society President.  June served with her husband as a service missionary in several capacities; in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, as a Temple Square Tour Van Driver, in the Bishop Storehouse and in the Kaysville, Utah Stake. She and Jesse also served a full time mission in Vietnam.

June touched the lives of many children as a daycare provider for over 20 years. She wrote daycare and preschool curriculum and was an instructor for Utah Infant/Toddler Child Care Training Programs.

She loved being surrounded by family, sewing, camping, traveling, cooking, gardening, canning, reading, playing with her grandchildren,and giving service to others.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse R. Dredge Jr., Kaysville; sons, Jesse Richard (Mary Alice) Dredge III, Plain City; Stephen Wade (Nicole) Dredge, Mtn. Green; Daniel Lawrence (Jennie) Dredge, West Haven; daughters, Lisa June Dredge (Rick) Stephens, Greeley, CO; Marylynn Dredge (Mark) Thayne, West Point; Deanna Dredge (Clark) Hirschi, Layton; Jennifer Dredge (Brian) Berrong, South Weber; Shelba Pearl Dredge (Spencer) Knowles, South Weber; 41 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother, Earlen Wade, Pocatello, ID; and sister, Rosealie Wade (Gene) Colton, Malad, ID.

Preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Willow Pines Ward,

331 South 50 West, Kaysville, Utah.

Viewing will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 West Center Street, Kaysville,Utah and Friday May 27, 2016  from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Willow Pines Ward.

Interment May 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. St. John Cemetery in Malad, Idaho,
