Julia Lorraine Palfreyman "Together Forever"
Julia Lorraine Palfreyman, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was born to Emil and Willhelmina Ellis Ekstrom on September 4, 1920 in Preston, Idaho.
She married Clifford F. Palfreyman on April 17, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After they retired, Cliff and Julia spent their winters on the Baja of California, at Cabo San Lucas and also in Mesa, Arizona.
Julia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked for Hill Air Force Base for 19 years. She loved to travel. Cliff and Julia traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Julia enjoyed fishing, bowling with a league and square dancing. She had been a member of the Ogden Boat Club for many years.
Mom was always lending a helping hand to others. Mom was our best friend.
Julia is survived by her son, Albert Lee (Marjean) Palfreyman, Taylor; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bob (Dorthy) Ekstrom, Roy; Mont (Barbara) Ekstrom, Syracuse, Maxine Stone, Clinton and Ronny (Deloras) Wise, Ogden and sisters-in-law, Linda Palfreyman, Roy and Lagene Ekstrom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; son, Clifford Don; grandson, John Palfreyman; parents, Emil and Willhelmina Ekstrom; siblings, June (Ray) Cone, Dorthy Titus, Harold Ekstrom and Billy Ekstrom and brother-in-law, Bob Stone.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
