Julene Hall Reid July 16, 2025 Julene Hall Reid (78) passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family members at McKay-Dee Hospital on July 16, 2025, due to complications from Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy.
Julene was born in Tooele, Utah to William and Nelma Hall. She was the third of four children. Julene graduated from Tooele High School, then from Weber State University with an associate’s degree in Logistics Management. Julene and Clint Reid were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on October 2, 1968.
Julene’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family and serving others. She especially loved family vacations, camping trips, and playing table games. She was an amazing cook, and she used her talent to feed everyone.
As a young woman Julene loved to travel, including living for a time in New Zealand while working for an airline. Throughout her life she loved to study and share stories about her ancestors, especially her Māori ancestors on her father’s side.
Julene enjoyed meeting people from around the world during her 20-year career with LDS Global Distribution Services.
Julene is survived by her husband, two sons, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sibling. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, and a daughter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist Mortuary 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. Layton, Utah 84041. Friends may visit with family prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
