JUDY VERNON BROOKS

OGDEN- Judy Vernon Brooks passed away on Friday January 20, 2012. She fought a hard battle but, became too tired to continue her second fight against cancer.

She was born on October 17, 1941 in Kamas, Utah to Jay Siddoway and Myrla Wilde Vernon. She graduated from North Summit High School. She married Ralph "Gus" Brooks on January 30, 1959 in Wanship, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, March 17, 1965.

She is survived by her husband Gus, and their six children: Kevin, Stevin (Heidi), Jaylene (Vishy), Laura (Scott), Kelly (Annette) and Kimberly. 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Also survived by 3 brothers: Larry (Kathy), Glen (Lorraine) and Dennis Vernon. A special thanks to the sister she never had and partner in crime Dorothy Victor.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, Family will meet with friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Hoytsville, Ut.
