Juanita Valdez Pasillas

Our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother passed away April 27, 2023.

Juanita was born November 21, 1938 to Epifanio and Bertha Garcia in Monte Vista, Colorado; raised in Ogden, Utah.

Mom married Stephen Valdez (widowed), and then married Jose Pasillas (divorced), together, they had seven children.

Mom is survived by five of her children, Johnny Valdez, Frank (Iola) Valdez, Stephanie (Ronnie) Gomez, Elena Loza and Corrina Pasillas; and one sister, Becky (Mario) Flores.  She was preceded in death by two of her children, Rita Valdez and Lisa Valdez; her parents; three brothers and two sisters; and nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
