Josephine Moore Lloyd

WASHINGTON TERRACE a€" Josephine Moore Lloyd, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 of causes incident to age. She was born on November 15, 1922 in Hooper, Utah. She was the fifth of eight children born to Samuel James and Luella Simpson Moore. She was raised and educated in Hooper.

She married Ernest Clifford Kester in April of 1946. They were later divorced. She met Harold Dean Lloyd while working at the Arsenal, and on July 24, 1951, they were married. They spent 52 years together before he passed away on June 18, 2003. They loved to camp and fish together. She worked for many years in the food industry, retiring at age 83, from Stimpson''s Market in 2005. She also worked at Wangsgards Market.

Josephine is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Andrew) Erwin of Riverdale and Barbara (Michael) Wiley of North Ogden; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Louella (Dean) Coulter of Clinton; brother, Vern (Ruby) Moore of Hooper; and sister-in-law, Cleone Moore of Roy.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Harold Kent Lloyd; parents; brothers, Charles, George and Henry; and sisters, Vonda and Margaret.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
