Kaysville, Josefina B Pastrana of 535 W. Mutton Hollow Rd Died Friday, May 23rd 2025 at home of Natural causes.
She was born March 11th, 1934 in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico. A Daughter of Esuebio Bravo and Aurelia Valenzuela Bravo.
She was Married to Florentino Pastrana on July 6th 1955.
She began her Career at Davis County School District, as a Teacher Aide continued on to Clover Club and ended her working years as a housekeeper.
She lived in Hidalgo, Texas, for 21 years in McAllen, Texas for 5 years, Layton for 2 years and her remaining years in Kaysville.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Surviving are her daughter and three sons: Josie Calzada, Layton: Tino Pastrana Jr., Kaysville Jose Luis Pastrana, Kaysville Daniel Pastrana Seattle, Leonel Bravo of Kyle, Texas her sole surviving brother of 7 children.
Also surviving her grandchildren and great grandchildren Jessica Rivera 3 Great Granddaughters Izabella, Aubriana, Kataleia. Casey Pastrana 3 Great Grandchildren Ryan, Mason, Ruby. Dylan Pastrana, Austin Pastrana and Jake Pastrana.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Church Street, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family Wednesday June 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. A vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 S. State Street, Clearfield, Utah.
Luncheon following Burial 340 S 925 E Layton, Utah.
