Our son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Jordan Richard Kersey, 23, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

He was born on February 1, 1993 to Russell Kersey and Becky Elizabeth Owens in Ogden, Utah. He was raised in Ogden and spent a few years in St. George. Jordan attended both Davis and Weber County Schools.

He was a member of The Clearfield Community Church.

Jordan experienced many occupations such as being an EMT, Vet Tech, and Customer Service for both Walmart and Denny’s. Jordan’s personality was very outgoing, very caring of others, and looked up to his older siblings.

He enjoyed being outdoors, being around friends and family, and loved his four-legged companion Zoey. He also loved the time spent with his nieces and nephews.

Jordan is survived by his parents, Russell Kersey and Becky Owens and stepfather Brian Grow; brother, Adam (Mishelle) Kersey; sister, Megan Kersey (Alex Anderson); nieces, Brooklyn and Brinley; nephews, Braxton and Briggs; grandparents, Richard Kersey, Charlotte (Perry) Dobyns, and Judy Owens; and loved by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Kersey; grandpa, Merlin Owens; grandma, Josie Kersey; uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family would like to thank the Moulton family for the love and support they showed Jordan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
