CLINTON – John Robert Bambula, 78, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Roy, Utah.
He was born December 21, 1940 the son of Robert and Florence Polnow Bambula in Woodstock, Illinois. During his life he had resided in Illinois, California and Utah.
John married Carolee Neider on May 5, 1981 in Reno, Nevada.
He was an avid classic car buff. John was a good honest man who enjoyed restoring cars, classic car shows, boats, RV’s, and his cats. He received many awards from General Motors and was a master automotive painter. He was even hired to paint Evil Knievel’s sky cycle. He was a master handyman and could fix or build anything.
Surviving are his wife Carolee Neider Bambula, children, Ronald Bambula, Donna McKenzie, Linda Fischer, Gerald Bambula, step-children, Tammy Pardee, Monte Pardee, Randy Pardee, Kelly Pardee, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, William Bambula, James Bambula, Robert Bambula, Richard Bambula, Edward Williams, Dale Williams, sisters, June Bambula, Mary Bambula, Beverly Williams, Bernice Williams and Darlene Williams.
Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Glen Bambula, Lonnie Williams and sister, Margorie Williams.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
