Joe Louis Payan

January 24, 1935 ~ July 21, 2016

Joe Louis Payan passed away in St. George, Utah.

He married Ellen Mendoza Payan on November 5, 1960 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Louis was a dedicated employee at Hill Air Force Base.  He served in the U. S. Army.

Louis is survived by his children, Mike Payan, Claudia (John) James, Dave (Carey) Payan, and Chuck (Jennifer) Payan; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter (Rebel/Dora);  four sisters, Veva Lopez, Angela Eldredge, Berlinda Payan, and Betty Payan; four brothers, Nick Payan, Del Payan, Jim Payan, and Frank Payan.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven.  Graveside services will follow at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
