FARR WEST a€" After being surrounded and cared for by her family for the last few months, our feisty redhead is now resting in peace. She married her sweetheart, Patrick Benton, on May 16, 1956. They had two children, Patrick Jr. (Janel) and Katherine Jo (Bryan Bennett). Twelve grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren later, their family continues to grow.

You never saw Jody without her hair and nails done or without her diamonds and gold. She was a homemaker, painter, collector and award winning photographer. West Yellowstone, Jackson Hole and Las Vegas were some of her favorite vacation shopping spots. Shoes and anything that sparkled were her biggest weakness. The color purple and Sunday breakfast will always remind us of her. She will be missed by many.

A private service will be held in her honor. Friends may offer condolences to the family on Thursday, October 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. In Jo''s memory please come wearing something purple.
