Jimmie R Allen was born on March 30, 1941, in Phoenix, Arizona to Ornan R Allen and Dorthy Edna Brown.
He married Darlene Armstrong in Ogden, Utah on November 29, 1963, and had four children.
Jim lived an active and full life in Tolleson, Arizona before serving honorably in the United States Air Force, his dedication was exemplified by an additional 38 year career aboard Hill Air Force Base as a civil servant.
Jim was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an active leader and guiding hand in the Boy Scouts of America, a lifelong mechanic, and an avid outdoorsman.
Jim was the recipient of many awards and commendations throughout his life, both personally and professionally. Receiving one of the highest awards in scouting, the Silver Beaver.
Jim is survived by his wife, Darlene and children, Terry (Diane) Allen, Jimmy Allen, Karen (Brad) Durrant, and Mark (Kimberly) Allen. Jim is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Phillip Allen and sister, Lorraine Nicholas.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Washington Terrace East Stake Center, 4760 South 200 East. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at and Wednesday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Veterans Affairs or a local VFW in honor of Jim Allen and his lifelong dedication to God, Country, and Family.
