David James Cramer (Jim)

Our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away on May 13, 2026 at age 81 from Lung and Brain Cancer.

He was born on August 30, 1944, and raised by Louise and LeeRoy Cramer in Salt Lake City. He was drafted into the army and serving 2 years during the Vietnam war and making his way up to Sargent in the 538 Engineers Strike Unit stationed in Thailand.

After returning he made a name for himself by doing some of the most beautiful woodwork and finishing carpentry. He was introduced to raising chickens and really loved the birds almost as much as hunting and fishing. He was always drawing wildlife pictures to enter local art shows and won a few times.

He is survived by his children, David (Trae), and Brandy (Ethan). 3 grandchildren, Charli (Trevor), Ryanne (Karter), Delton and 1 great-grandchild, Karsyn. Jim is also survived by his sister, Judy Phelps.

Services will be held on June 1, 2026 at 2 PM at Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park in Bluffdale, UT. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
