Jill Morrin, age 73, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. Jill was born on January 13, 1953, in Ogden, Utah, to Dean F. and Jane Shurtliff Morrin. Jill attended Ogden City Schools, graduating from Ogden High School in 1971.

She married Brent Humphries and had three beautiful children, Brady, Megan, and Jared. They were later divorced.

Jill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Studies from Weber State University. Her professional journey was marked by her work in the laboratory at St. Benedict’s Hospital and Primary Children’s Hospital where she later retired. Her contributions to the medical field were a testament to her intelligence and commitment to helping others.

Jill’s life was enriched by her many passions and hobbies. She embraced adventures of all kinds and cherished time spent at the family cabin in Huntsville, Utah. Jill lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication to her family and career. Jill also enjoyed golfing, gardening, hiking, skiing, and truly enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their sports and dance competitions.

Jill married the love of her life, Michael Williams, on June 28, 2008. Together they were members of Northern Utah ATV Trail Riders Club. They enjoyed time spent together on long rides in the Utah mountains on their side-by-side and motorcycle rides with Michael and the group.

Jill is survived by her loving husband, Michael Williams; her children Brady (Kailia) Humphries, Megan (Miranda) Humphries, and Jared (Valerie) Humphries; as well as eight grandchildren, Jakob (Lynda), Aubrey (Nathanael), Maya (Anderson), Leila, Evan, Morgan, Brynlee, Baylor; four great-grandchildren, Kingston, Skyla, Arya, and Benson; and her sisters, Sue Carter and Mary Dabling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Jane Morrin; brothers, James Morrin and Richard Morrin; sister, Kathy Opheikens; and nephew, Jon Morrin.

Her zest for life was evident in everything she did. Family was at the heart of Jill’s world. Those who knew Jill will remember her as a strong, confident woman with a kind heart and an infectious sense of humor. Her presence brought joy to everyone around her, leaving a mark on the lives she touched. May Jill’s memory bring comfort to all who loved her.

Jill’s family would like to thank recent caregivers for their exceptional service in her final days.

Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
