1983-2021

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend Jessica Lindsey Scarbrough Clayton on October 23, 2021, at the age of 38 years.

Jessica was born on June 10, 1983, the youngest of six children. She lived most of her childhood in Fairfield, Utah, and graduated from Lehi High School in 2001. Her intelligence and sharp mind helped her to be outstanding in her field as a health insurance consultant.

Jessica was a warm and thoughtful person, always looking out for the down-trodden, giving kind words when you were sad, and taking in those in need of a place to feel safe and loved. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her amazing children, family and friends playing board games, card games, watching movies, cuddling on the couch or anything as long as they could be together. Her laugh was infectious and her generosity was inspiring. Whether you knew her for only a moment or a whole lifetime, your life was blessed. She was truly loved and she will be profoundly missed.

Jessica is survived by her children: Corbin, Lily, Danika, Quinn; and Joshua Carson; her mother Deborah Smith, father Dan Scarbrough, siblings Dan Scarbrough (Melanie), Jean Britton (Michael), Jared Scarbrough, Dottie Lima (Kirk) and many nieces and nephews as well as many aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, James Scarbrough.
