Jerry was born in Columbus, Ohio to Meredith Leslie Dilley and Wanda Jean Bennett.
He grew up in Franklin County, Ohio. He joined the United States Air Force in 1966, during his time he was stationed in Japan, then Hill Air Force Base where he was honorably discharged.
Jerry met and married the love of his life, Bonnie Jean Wheeler in 1968.
He then worked at Hill Air Force Base as an Aircraft Electronics Mechanic where he later retired.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Dilley, his sons, Kevin (LaRae), Shawn (Tiffani) Dilley and five grandchildren, Zachary, Garrett, Keaton, Cade, and Taylar, one great granddaughter, Wrenley Rae, his brothers, Greg (Sarah), Timmy (Liz), Jeff (Debbie), Mark (Libby) Dilley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was prededed in death by his parents, Meredith and Wanda, and his sister Annette.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Friday, November 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
