Jeri Anne Weaver Stephens

Jeri Anne Weaver Stephens, 69, of Roy Utah, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday May 7, 2016 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Jeri was born in Preston, Idaho on March 12, 1947, the daughter of Gerald Gamble and Vilate Widdison Weaver. She graduated from Weber High School in 1965.

On October 1, 1965, Jeri married the love of her life, Michael C. Stephens. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on March 29, 1997. Jeri was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a deep love for her Savior.

Jeri had a great love of literature and live theatre, though her greatest love was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and recently a great-grandmother.

Jeri is survived by her devoted husband, Michael; two daughters, Cherie (Jerry) Dammann, Seattle, WA; Michele (Cory) Colohan, Roy, UT; three sons, Brad Stephens, Roy, UT; Dustin Stephens, Portland, OR; and Jeremy (Tawny) Stephens, Syracuse, UT; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Terrie (Don) Cox; two brothers, Del (Margot) Wilson, and Rick (Lin) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Cherie Weaver.

She was the heart of our family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10: 30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
