Jeri Anne Bott

July 13, 1950 — July 25, 2024

Jeri Anne Bott of Salt Lake City passed away on July 25, 2024. Jeri was 74 years old and is survived by her older brother Richard D. Bott (JoAnn); nephews Richard S. Bott (Melissa) and Timothy W. Bott (Elizabeth). Jeri is the daughter of William and Marion Bott. Her older brother William Bott III passed away in 1959.

Jeri attended Ogden High School and graduated from the University of Utah in 1972. After college she traveled to Washington D.C. and worked for the Reagan White House where she traveled around the East Coast for about 10 years. Jeri then moved to the Bay Area in California where she worked for Kaiser Permanente in its claims department. Upon her return to Utah, she worked for the Utah Medical Insurance Association as part of the continuing medical education department. That position provided her with many opportunities to travel to Montana and Wyoming. In Salt Lake, Jeri was also President of her condominium association where she successfully handled many issues.

Most importantly, Jeri was a lovely person, a loyal friend and a avid cat lover. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 29, 2024 at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. Ogden, Utah.

The family wishes to recognize Conae Holmes with Caregiver Connections for her friendship and support to Jeri.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
