Jennifer: fiercely passionate, lovable laughter and creatively adventurous spirit.
Jenny was born on April 4th, 1980, in Tacoma Washington, to Ken and Mindy Green.
She was our mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She loved the details of nature and grew up brewing potions of leaves and twigs in Syracuse, Utah. She was the kind of person to stop cat fights, only to end up with a rabies shot. She nursed rejected fledgling birds in the warmth of her blouse. Her hugs felt like being tucked into her soul. She could quote any movie for the perfect occasion and belly laugh with you to tears. She found comfort in nostalgia for her free-roaming childhood, collected her Fisher Price toys and squealed over anything miniature. The music she loved carried her through her life, and she knew all there was to know about her favorites: Tool, Janis Joplin, Metallica, Nirvana, and her imaginary boyfriend, Eddie Vedder. She dreamt of being swept away to a Gothic castle, like in Phantom of the Opera and Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Most importantly, she always dreamt of being a mother. Everything she did, she did for her kids. She loved us all in a special way - she became a young mother to Brynlie, who would know her soul. Her next was Tayelor, who absorbed her creative spirit. Johanna, her youngest baby girl, who shares her fun-fact loving brain. Harrison, who answered her prayers for a "unicorn baby boy,” and who shares her huge heart. Each of her kids received her love through her creative adventures, movie nights, elaborate gifts, and true consideration of our souls. She loved the way her two oldest daughters emulated her spunk, style, and hippie grunge we also see in photos from her youth. She adored that her two youngest are rambunctious adventurers that mirror the child in her soul. She loved her bonus son (in-law) as a friend and another answered prayer. Our time was cut short, although an eternity wouldn't ever be enough.
As a sister and daughter, she was our Bubbles, and she was our Golden Girl, Rose. She was a rebellious and spontaneous Aries spirit, and everything she touched adopted her eccentric flair.
She will be deeply missed, and we know her soul is sitting beside each of us. She'll be in the echoes of our laughter, favorite movies, and songs. She's free of the pain that plagued her, and we'll listen for her in the wind, find her in the shiny rocks on our walks, and in the stray animals we show kindness to. She's happily reunited with her soulmate, Doc, her beloved black lab, as well as her grandmas, grandpas, and uncles.
She is survived by her four children (Brynlie, Tayelor, Johanna and Harrison), her sister (Heather Green), and her parents (Ken and Mindy Green).
