Jeffrey Lysle Fleming passed away at his home in Pleasant View, Utah on February 28, 2026, at the age of 53. He was born on January 31, 1973, in Logan, Utah. He was the youngest child of Richard Harris and Cleo Seamons Fleming.
Jeff married Bridgett Lee Olsen on November 9, 1996. Together they had a son, Brodix Jeffrey. They later divorced. Jeff married Misti Lyn Pincock on November 16, 1999. They had three more sons, Dallin Richard, Ethan Dwight, and Mason Lynn. They later divorced.
Jeff grew up on a working farm where his parents raised just about every kind of animal you could imagine. From his father, he learned how to care for and butcher animals, and from his mother he learned how to work the soil and plant crops to help feed the family. But life on the farm wasn’t all work. Jeff lived every boy’s dream—riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes and shooting his guns from dawn till dark on the property. When they could get away, Jeff loved spending time hunting, fishing, boating, and camping with his parents.
Throughout Jeff’s school years, he was very active in sports. He played football for Wahlquist Junior High and soccer at Weber High School. Soccer became especially meaningful to him — it’s where he built lifelong friendships and developed a true love for the sport. Jeff shared that passion with his children. He coached all of them in various sports, but he especially enjoyed coaching their soccer teams, both at the recreational level and in competitive leagues.
Besides sports, Jeff enjoyed many of life’s simple things: watching his Raiders play through the good, bad, and even worse years, enjoying a cold Coke, binge-watching a great TV show with his boys, NASCAR and drag racing, collecting guns of all makes and models, tinkering with cars, and creating meals with his family from his smoker or grill.
Jeff was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in the scouting program and earned his Eagle Scout award. He maintained a close relationship with many of his scouting and church leaders over the years.
Jeff loved being a dad and “Papa.” There wasn’t a single day he didn’t reach out to his children or his grandson, Hudson— often multiple times a day – to share a TikTok video, send a text or simply call to say, “I love you.”
Jeff is survived by his children, Brodix Jeffrey (Ana Maria) of Syracuse, UT; Dallin Richard (Amber Marie) of Layton, UT; Ethan Dwight of Syracuse, UT; and Mason Lynn of Syracuse, UT; and his grandsons, Hudson Jeffrey and Beckham Cole. He is also survived by his brother, Paul (Jill) Dahle, Herriman, UT and his half-sister, Cindy Godfrey, Harrisville, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Cleo Fleming and his older sister, Angela Davies.
