Jeanne passed away peacefully, February 3, 2026 in Sunset, Utah.
She grew up in Morgan, Round Valley, and Ogden areas. She was the oldest of 11 siblings. She was married to Louis M. Gallegos. They had seven children, 18 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren!
Tom Gallegos, Elaine (Jim) Tharp, Faye Burns, Gloria (Eldon) Messersmith, Dan (Lori) Gallegos, Rose Marie Gallegos, and Dean Gallegos.
Her main focus in life was being the best mother, showing unconditional love, with unending generosity that could be seen through many handmade quilts she made for church, surrounding communities, and Christmas gifts.
She did some teaching with church, and had a passion for genealogy, crocheting and quilting. She loved singing in church. She could occasionally be caught whistling and tap dancing! She has passed on her strength and courage to all that had the chance to meet her.
A very special thanks to the nurses and neighbors for their love and support. Most notably we need to give thanks to the hospice team, Jamie, Andrea, Jessica, and Julie, for advising and guiding us through these challenging time.
