Though their marriage later ended, Jan remained dedicated to creating a loving, faith-centered home for her children.
Jan was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and joined the Church in 1961. Her faith became a lifelong source of strength. She served faithfully in many callings, including as a Stake Missionary in Torrance, California.
