Jasper Louis Wade passed away December 10, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born May 13, 1935, in Kelsey, Texas to Susie Esther Ammonette and Paul Wade. He was the 8th of nine children. When he was six the family moved to Mesa, Arizona where he attended school until his junior year when they moved to Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from Davis High School.

Dad married Sharon Leona Saunders November 10, 1954, in the Salt Lake Temple. They had seven children. Mom passed away on September 9, 2013. They were married 59 years.

He found love again and married Darlene Lee. She passed away September 12, 2022.

Dad was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a strong testimony and love of our Savior Jesus Christ. He lived a simple, humble life full of service.

Dad was a good father. He was a hard worker and was meticulous in what he did. His grandchildren have fond memories of grandpa taking them around the block in the red wagon and sharing homemade ice cream.

Dad was a kind and gentle man and was always one to look after a stray animal or person. He was a friend to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his son, Kenneth, his second wife, Darlene; his parents, Paul and Susie; and siblings, Regina Scott, Leotha Slagowski, AB Wade, Gene Wade, Pauline Brooks, Rowan Wade, and Eva Nell Arbon.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to those who helped in dad’s care over this last year, especially, Dr. Kendall Coburn, Dr. Tyler Christensen, Ray Miller NP, Jace Nye NP, and their staff, IHC Homecare and Symbii Hospice, and to all of those at Legacy House of Ogden, our dad and family are so grateful for your tender care.
