Jason Kent Cortes Returned to his Heavenly Father, Saturday Dec. 1, 2021, Surrounded by his family.

Jason was born January 25, 1973, in Rupert, Idaho to Coleen Robinson Cortes. Later adopted by Juan Cortes. He attended Minico High School in Rupert. Later moved to the Layton, Utah Area.

There he met the love of his life, Jamie Atwood. They were married in Farmington and later moved to Roy than Clinton. He worked for Kearsley’s for 25 years. While working there he met many people.

He was well loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Jason and Jamie were blessed with three wonderful children. They loved to drive to the mountains to look at the Scenery and have family time.

Jason is survived by his wife of 28 years. daughter, Kendra, and son Bryson, grandson Jordan, mom Coleen Cortes, of Malta, ID, father Keith Milliner of Magna. brother Kenny (Candice) Cortes and sister Julie (Dondie) Blacker both of Rupert, ID, grandmother, Floy Robinson Hodges, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by son Craig, dad, Juan Cortes, grandfather Clair Robinson, uncles Kelly, and Ben Robinson.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clinton 25th Ward building, 2841 W. 1300 N. Clinton, Utah. Friends may visit family Friday, December 10, 2021, at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9:30 t0 10: 30. a.m. at the church.
