Jared Morgan Neville

(October 29, 1958 – September 6, 2023)

Jared Morgan Neville passed away peacefully and returned to his Father in Heaven on September 6, 2023. Jared was soft spoken. He was known for being kind and caring, and we never heard him talk bad about others.

Jared was the son of Joseph Taylor & Martha Evelyn (Morgan) Neville.

Jared graduated from Weber State University (WSU) with a bachelor’s degree in information technology and subsequently worked at WSU’s IT Department.

Jared had three passions: stamps, cats, and electronics.  Jared was an avid stamp collector and took pride and joy in his large stamp collection. He had a love for cats.  ‘Eevee’ his last cat, was his best friend. He was fascinated with many and varied electronic devices.

One of the highlights of his life was his final wish to go on a cruise to the Panama Canal.  He proudly wore the shirts and hats he bought at every port.

In his last several years, he became close to the Lord Jesus Christ, His Savior.

Jared is survived by his brother, Joseph M. Neville (Mary Jane), his sister, Valerie Neville-Garrett (Dennis), and his brother, David M. Neville (Leslie). Also, he had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his aunts Nellie Morgan, Maxine Neville and his uncle Earl Morgan.

The family extends a special thanks to Denise, Jared’s hospice nurse, for her compassionate heart and comfortable care of him in his final days.  Denise was a joy for the family to work with.

We also thank everyone at Avamere At Mountain Ridge in South Ogden and to the Skyline Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation 10-10:45am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N.400 E., Bountiful, Utah. Burial in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
