Jared Alexander Burnett

On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Jared Alexander Burnett left this life.

Jared enjoyed competing on the City of Plano (COPS) swim team.  He also enjoyed strategy games and could beat almost anyone with his out of the box thinking. Jared lived and worked the last four years in Ogden, Utah, for a defense contractor. He was good at his job and worked hard every day.  Jared was proud of his job and lived independently.

Jared had some rough life challenges with three major surgeries and the death of his mother when he was 16, but he continued to have a kind heart and loved to help people. He was always going out of his way to help others even when he had little to give. He was always quick with a smile and a helping hand.

Jared is survived by his father, David Burnett (Janice); his sister, Elizabeth Skousen (Kevin); brother, Devin Burnett; and three stepsiblings, Kendall Anderson, Megan Raden and Jared Bromstead; and eight nieces and nephews, who all loved their Uncle Jared.  He was very proud of being an uncle and loved to play and watch over them.

No formal services will be held at this time.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
