They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on February 26, 1965. Jan and Stan celebrated their 66th Anniversary on September 9th of this year.

She went on to become a teacher's aide at this same school. She found great pleasure in helping troubled youth find their way at both Granite alternative School and Decker Lake Youth Correctional Facility.

Over the years Jan enjoyed many hobbies and passions. She was a very talented artist. If you were lucky enough to receive one of her oil paintings or ceramic art pieces, they were a true treasure. She spent many tireless hours researching and compiling her Genealogy. She loved gardening and took great pride in her yard. Every rock, wind chime, birdhouse, or sunflower had it's place.

Jan loved - owls (because they reminded her of her late sister Jeannie), scrap booking, collecting nut crackers, and anything sunflowers. She also loved being a mother to her many dogs over the years; Harley, Scooter, Tanner, and Muggs.

Jan loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She had four grandkids and seven great grandkids with the addition of two bonus grandkids and six great grandkids through marriage.
