Janet Bertha Johnson

Janet Bertha Reese Johnson loving Mother, Grandmother, and favorite Aunt passed away December 23, 2024, in Ogden, Utah at the age of 83. She was born April 8, 1941, to the parents of Gordon Reese and Delpha Lemon Reese in Afton, Lincoln, Wyoming. She was a resident of Salt Lake City Utah. 

Janet graduated from Davis High School and went to Weber State College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. She married Blaine F. Johnson on August 3, 1961, and later divorced. 

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. She worked many years and retired from the United States Government Department of Energy.

She was very involved in 4-H clubs and Otyokwa. 

She had many hobbies that she enjoyed which included: Quilting, Reading, Baking, Scrapbooking.

She is survived by: Sons Dirk Johnson, Drew Johnson, and Darin (Colette) Johnson, Sisters Sally (Brian) Marston, Wendy (Jeff) Purdy, Lawanna Watts, and Sister-in-law Diane Reese, Grandchildren Colby (Megan) Johnson, Marissa Good, Amanda Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Lucas Briggs, Elli Briggs, Great grandchildren, Sterling Good, Theo Johnson and Toren Johnson, along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death: Parents Gordon W Reese and Delpha Lemmon (Reese), Brothers Arthur and Wayne Reese, Sister Marie Reese (Austad) and  Brother-in-laws Robert Austad and Sherman Watts.

Funeral Services will be held January 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kaysville Ward, 1480 W. Phillips St. Kaysville, UT. 84037. Friends may visit with family prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.
