James Alton Pack LAYTON – James Alton Pack, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was born June 17, 1927 in Sewanee, Tennessee the son of James C. and Ella Mae Parson Pack. James married Elaiza Martinez on November 9, 1952 in Park View, New Mexico. He retired from the USAF. Surviving are his daughter Susan (Richard) Ward, Clearfield; grandchildren, James, Zack, Dustin, two great-grandchildren, Javani, Damon and brother, Thomas (Ann) Pack, Sewanee, TN. Preceded in death by his wife. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road where military honors will be accorded by HAFB Honor Guard. We lost our loving father, grandfather and friend to all he will be forever in our hearts.
