James L. Hendershott

James L. Hendershott, 75, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. He was born July 17, 1936 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Edward C. and Helen Lundwall Hendershott. He married Kinuyo Tashiro and they were later divorced.

James retired from the US Air Force after serving in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his son James (Beverly) Hendershott, West Point, UT; two grandchildren, Cassie and James; and two great-grandchildren, Alissa and Kaybree.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and his son Christopher.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 10, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.

Interment will be in the Oakgrove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan.
