James Russel Card Sr

James Russell Card, Sr. passed away on February 1, 2012, in Bountiful, Utah. He was born April 15, 1934 to Alma Percy Card and Florence Klenk Card in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Norma Benson on June 8, 1991.

He attended school in Utah and Wyoming, graduating from Lyman High School (WY). He became a Master Electrician. He served in the Army July ''53 to June ''55, and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of the Salt Lake County Fish & Game Association. James, a jack of all trades, enjoyed hunting and classical music.

He is survived by his wife Norma Benson Card, Bountiful UT; 5 children: Nancy X. Card (Ogden), Russel Card (Salina), Michelle Tiller (Roy), Steven (Barbara) Card (Jamestown WY), Andrew (Meg) Card (Eagle Mountain); 3 step-children: Fred Potts, Cindy Rentink (Jack), and Danny Potts (Karen); 3 siblings: Phillip (Yvonne) Card, Charles (Annabelle) Card, and Anita (Ray) Stucki. Jim has 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and foster daughter, Angela Casey.

Family and friends may call Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. at 1035 Arlington Way, Bountiful Utah. Care entrusted to Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary.
