Jaclyn Dawn Jessen Hamblin

Jaclyn Dawn Jessen Hamblin, our Jackie, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, March 26, 2012.

Jackie was born on March 19, 1977, three minutes before her twin and lifelong collaborator, Jennifer. She was welcomed by her parents, Gayland & Vickie Jessen, and her big sister Geina; and later joined by her little brother Rustin.

She met the love of her life, Devan Hamblin, at Utah State University in the fall of 1998. They were married and sealed for time and all eternity on July 9th, 1999 in the Bountiful LDS Temple. In this union she gained another family she loved very much, and the Hamblin family loved her dearly in return.

Jackie''s earthly life and memory is carried on by her husband and two wonderful children: Braden, born in 2001, and Ashlee who was born in 2006. We are sure Jackie is happily catching up on cuddles with her sweet Brooklyn, who was too special for this world and stillborn in 2004.

In her short life, Jackie faced trials far beyond what most of us could bear. She did so with grace, love, and dignity. We will all miss her glowing smile and contagious laugh.

Services to celebrate Jackie''s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Kaysville Central LDS Stake Center at 550 Fairfield Road in Kaysville, UT. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to services.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
