Iona May Nolz OGDEN – Iona May Nolz, 84, died Monday, May 21, 2007 in Ogden of causes incident to age. She was born March 15, 1923 in Worthington, Minnesota, a daughter of John and Dena Broesder Johnson. Iona married Donald Frahm, William Hofmann, and Glen Nolz. She was preceded in death by all three. She was raised and educated in Minnesota living in Worthington and Pipestone. She also lived in Huron, South Dakota and in Ogden since 1950. Iona was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Liberty Park Ward. She worked as a waitress and also served as a Senior Companion for many years in Weber County. Iona enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, oil painting and singing. Surviving are four sons, Duane (Venita) Frahm, Roy; Don (June) Frahm, Plain City; Steve (Karen) Hofmann, Belle Fourche, SD; Dale (Karen) Hofmann, St. George; 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three grandsons, four brothers, two sisters, and her parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
