Ila Hunter Higgs

We will miss you. Ila left us on February 12, 2012 at Aspen Care Center surrounded by her family. She was 76 years old, born March 12, 1935 to John and LaVera Hunter. Ila was funny and strong till the end. She had a way of touching everyone''s heart with her bright beautiful smile. Ila married Gene Higgs and together they had six children: Ilene (Roy) Norris, Ruthann Higgs, Janet Greene, Pam (Rod) Hess, Jeannie (Kerry) Hart, and Roger (Kara) Higgs; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen (Bob) Davis; and three brothers, Rodney (Corna), Dale (Deana), and Gaylen (Barbara).

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Carlyle (Nora) Hunter.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family would like to extend special thanks to IHC Hospice and Aspen Care Center for the love and support that they showed to Ila.
