Helen Marie Bonnett Elmer

July 14, 1928 ~ May 24, 2016

After living a life dedicated to her family, faith, and service to others, our loving Mother returned to the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Helen married Harvey A. Elmer, on December 21, 1946.  They were blessed with 16 children, 52 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren, a handful of great-great-grandchildren and a few great-great-great-grandchildren.

She had a lifelong love of reading.  She loved sewing, crocheting, listening to music, and she relished painting pictures of all kinds, which she freely gave to family and friends.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She cherished her friendships that were gained through her church service.  Her faith was always important to her.

Helen is survived by her children, Harvey (Judy) Elmer, Harry (Linda) Elmer, Richard (Penny) Elmer, Helen (Todd) Kmiecik, William Elmer, Glenda (Stanley) Brown, Walter Elmer, Sally (LaMonte deceased) Carroll, Alice (Dave) Perry, Oliver (Ellen) Elmer, Bridgett (Junior) Fackrell, Garth Elmer, Elizabeth Jensen, Barbara (Randy deceased) Pierce, and Daniel (Robb Carney) Elmer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Harvey; one son, Rodney; her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
