Hazel Sue Neal

Hazel “Sue” Neal Our sweet mother passed away May 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. We know a great reunion took place on that day with dad, her grandson Kyle and all of mom’s family and loved ones who had gone on before her. Sue was born December 2, 1929 in Bluefield, West Virginia to David and Hazel Warden with lots of insisting, her mother put her on a train to join her older sister in nurses training. She graduated as a proud registered nurse in 1950. She worked in the Bluefield Sanitarium for a short period of time. She then moved to New York to share her heart with her older sister and best friend who was widowed with two very young children. She worked as an operating room nurse and supervisor in Beckley West Virginia. She married Charles “Charlie” Neal on May 10, 1957 in Bluefield, West Virginia. They moved to Fruit Heights, Utah in 1975 and she worked the rest of her nursing years at Lakeview Hospital as a Utilization Review Nurse. Sue is survived by her two daughters Susan (Bill) Moon, Robin (Brad) Hart and her grandchildren Cody (Dani) Hart and Cassidy Hart. Mom you have left a big whole in our lives and hearts but it will be filled with all of the wonderful things you have taught us. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 9 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery. We would like to thank Dr. Chad Morrill, the nursing staff and those involved in mom’s care at Bear River Valley Hospital. Also a very sweet thank you to Intermountain Hospice who cared for mom and helped us through this difficult time.
