Hazel Bird Jackson

Hazel Bird Jackson was born on August 18, 1927 and passed peacefully on June 19, 2025.

Hazel was born to James I. Bird and Altheda Bird in Bluebell, Utah on May 14, 1949.

Hazel married Bud Jackson in Ogden, Utah and was mother to four girls, Connie Gines, Kathie (Mike) Abbott, Paula (Brent) Gill, Pat (Neil) Davis. She was blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mom belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Wilson 2nd Ward and was so lovingly taken care of by her members. Mom was loved by everyone she met. She was especially loved by her family. Mom loved to travel with Bud and her family as well as attending many family gatherings. Mom was a lifelong baseball fan and faithfully attended the Ogden Raptors baseball games. She was truly the matriarch of our family and will be greatly missed. We love you, mom!

Hazel was proceeded in death by her husband, Bud Jackson and grandson, Travis Gill.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
