Harrison Paul Pedro passed away Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the age of 88.
Harry was born February 26th, 1937, the first of three children, to Norma Harrison Pedro and Samuel Joseph Pedro, in Murray Utah. His siblings Delores (Vanderlinden) and Louise (Miller) followed. A year after going on a blind date that neither wanted to go on, he married Ida LaRee Oliver on August 16th, 1957, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Harry and LaRee welcomed four children to their family. Brett (deceased), Shelly, Blair, and Blake.
Harry worked at various employment with Kennecott Copper and Albertsons stores. He was managing three Car Washes while beginning his career with the United States Postal Service. He worked as a Carrier and Office Supervisor before his Postmaster position. He loved the community and spent the rest of his professional career servicing the people of Wallsburg, Utah.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Harry served in numerous callings within Youth organizations and Bishoprics.
His experience with the mountains and wildlife gave him courage to navigate the challenges of nature. Harry taught us to appreciate family, friends, and Dutch oven dinners.
Harrison (Harry) is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and son Brett (Linda). He is survived by LaRee, his wife of 68 years, children Shelly (Kevin), Blair, Blake, seven grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
We are especially grateful to our Wallsburg family and friends, whose prayers, kindness, and willingness to help, have meant more to us than we can express. We will never forget our “Wallsburg Wave”.
