Glenn Barnes

Glenn A. Barnes, 71, of Layton passed away, Friday, April 29, 2016 at home after a short illness.

He was born February 12, 1945 to the late Leland A. Barnes and Martha Strobel of Ashland, Ohio.

Glenn married the love of his life Cheryl A. Williams on August 14 1987.

Glenn worked for Qwest Telephone Company for 30 years.

The joy of Glenn’s life was his family.  His grandkids were the sunshine of his life and he was their biggest advocate! Every sporting event and Dance competition was attended with a smile on his face.  In Glenn’s spare-time he enjoyed golfing, photography and trips to wine country with his beautiful wife.

Glenn is survived by his wife Cheryl, four children Brian (Jackie) Boyd, Amanda Crompton, Teresa (Eric) Rogers and Rachelle (Wes) Steed, seven grandchildren Braeden and Trinity Boyd, Paetyn and Rylyn Crompton, Mya Rogers and Malaki and Leighla Steed.

A private memorial service was held.
