                               1934-2023

Gerry Holbrook slipped away peacefully in her sleep at home Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Born to Erma  (Croxall) Smith and Harry Smith on April 13, 1934.  She was the youngest of eight children.  Her siblings were Harry Oscar, Beatrice Leona, Paul Gordon, Thomas Birch, June Pearl, Raymond Fredrick, and Eloise Ruby.

She married the love of her life Robert M. Holbrook, December 12, 1953 in Las Vegas.  They were married for 69 years.  She has always said Dad was the wind beneath her wings.  They had one son from a previous marriage, John Tony Kounalis, and three daughters, Kathy Martin, Pat Francis (Kurt) and Nadine Slater (Terry).  She has seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Mom loved doing crafts, sewing, reading, quilting, embroidering, gardening, and shopping.  She was a longtime member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.  She enjoyed many wonderful years boating with Dad, family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Friends may visit family from 9:30 -10:30 am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. prior to the graveside services.
