Francisco was born on December 9, 1956, in Quito, Ecuador. With courage and hope, he moved to Utah with his wife and children to build a better future for his family. He was a man guided by strong morals, deep values, and unwavering integrity, always putting his loved ones first.
He shared nearly 50 years of partnership with his wife, loving her every day, together they built a life rooted in devotion, respect and genuine care, as a father he was a great teacher and example of how to work hard, be kind and help others
Francisco will be lovingly remembered for his kindness, warmth, humor, dedication, and strong sense of responsibility. His love was felt deeply by those around him, and his presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to his family and friends. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the values he passed down.
Francisco is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa Maria Pozo; his two sons, Francis and Christian, whom he loved deeply; his mother-in-law, Alicia Pozo; and his brothers and sisters, Norma, Rene, Elizabeth, Irma, and Luis, all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sonia, who remained forever in his heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services. The family welcomes everyone who would like to share these last moments with him.
