KAYSVILLE a€" Ferrell Shaw, 86, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012.

He was born June 18, 1925 in Summer Shade, Kentucky the son of Willie and Olivia Maxey Shaw. Ferrell was a World War II Veteran. He retired from Hill Air Force Base and was a member of the Davis County Sherriff''s Posse Riding Club. While stationed at Kearns, Utah he met and married Kathyleen Davis. Together they raised three children.

He raised race horses and enjoyed calf roping, team roping, fishing, hunting and golf.

Surviving are two sons, John, Kaysville; Mike (Anne), Canton, IL; daughter, Connie Armstrong, Anchorage, AK; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother, Howard, and sister, Helen Stamper, Palmer, AK.

Preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ray Shaw and two sisters: Alene Hall and Mildred Lovins.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Lehi Cemetery, 1100 N. 400 E. Friends may visit family on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street.
