Ferl Dean Hess (Chuck)

LAYTON – Ferl Dean Hess, 78, passed away June 30, 2015 at his home.

He was born December 1, 1936 the son of Edward and Crissi Mullins Hess.

Chuck served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving are his children: Rodney (Marcie) Hess, Gary Hess, Paul (Ginger) Hess, Patti (Kent) Holsten, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife Darlene Hess and son Joe Hess.

A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clearfield American Legion, 345 S. Depot Street, Clearfield to celebrate Chuck’s life.

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
