Everett Lee Boosinger

January 14, 1938 — August 31, 2023

Heavenly Father called home his son, Everett Lee Boosinger on August 31, 2023. Everett was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Born January 14,1938 to Regina Day (Hughes) and Victor Boosinger in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated in 1956 from Chaminade High School. He enlisted in the Navy and served for 20 years, he went on to have a second career with General Electric and finally retired in 1996. He served an LDS couples' mission in Ogden, Utah from 2009 to 2010.

On September 10, 1956, he married Jane Weybright. On August 22,1985 they were sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 57 years until Jane’s passing in 2013. Five years later lightning struck twice, when he met Susan Clough and after gathering the courage to ask her on a date and a short courtship, he knew she was the one. Susan and he were sealed on September 14, 2018, in the Ogden Temple.

Everett loved bass fishing, making lures, wood turning, flying model airplanes, sudoku, and reading the scriptures. His love of the Lord and service to others was a shining example for his posterity. Everett taught his children to work hard, value loyalty, and integrity.  Everett had an easy smile, quiet manner, and a twinkle in his eye often leading to mischief.

Everett was preceded in death by his first wife Jane Weybright Boosinger, parents Regina Hughes, Victor Boosinger, brother Jimmy Neiswander, daughters Deborah Whitmore and Rebecca Boden and great granddaughter Paizlee Speth.
