EVAN RICHARD WOOD

Evan Richard Wood, 64, passed away February 23, 2011 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. He was born January 31, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio to Dalton and Katherine Wood.

He graduated from high school in Springfield, Ohio where he played football and baseball. He served in the United States Navy. Most of his life was spent in ranching and mining. He enjoyed training and riding horses. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Association and worked in the Wilburg Mine.

He is survived by his son Ritchie (Rochelle) Wood, daughter Missy (Bob) Dierks; and seven grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Greg, Dale, Junior, Sonny; sisters Faye Fray, Brenda Young. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Burt. Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary.
