December 24, 1919 ~ September 8, 2016

Eva B. Taylor, born on December 24, 1919 passed away peacefully and painlessly on September 8, 2016.  We are at peace knowing she has joined those who preceded her in death.  She raised a family of six children who all loved her dearly.  She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Jay V. Taylor; her beloved oldest son, Ronald Taylor; and her precious youngest son, Danny Taylor.  She is survived by her children, Michael (Linda) Taylor, Jeannie Taylor, Julie (Jack) Taylor, Debbie (Thomas) Nelson.  She leaves behind a legacy of nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She took pride in her many years of working at Cliftons Clothing Store, IRS, and Hill AFB.

She was a gracious and empathetic person who loved spending time with her family.  She also loved traveling and meeting new people.  She loved watching the Jazz games, eating sweets, gambling at Wendover, playing cards and laughing at a good joke.  She was a role model to all, possessed a strength of character like no other, and optimism that surpassed comprehension.

“You are near, even if you are with me, even if you are far away.  You are in my heart, in my thoughts, in my life, always.”

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment at 2:30 p.m. at the Provo City Cemetery.

The family thanks all of her wonderful caregivers at Legacy, Lotus Park, Step Forward Hospice, and Dr. Mansfield.
