OGDEN, UTAH – Eslie M. Eppich, 92, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

He was born on January 18, 1924 in Trenton, Utah, in a two room cabin with a dirt floor, a son of Sheldon Paul and Elsie Vera Marriot Eppich.

He married Marilyn Coleman on November 27, 1942. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Dad grew up in Trenton where he worked on his dad’s farm.

He attended North Cache High School, played saxophone in the band where he met his future wife, Marilyn. They moved to Washington Terrace.  Eslie went to work at Hill Air Force Base for 32 years. He went on TDY to many Air Force Bases in the US and other countries.

Eslie enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, and loved to go everywhere.  They belong to “The Over the Hill Chapter” of the “Good Sam Club”. Traveled the US and Mexico.

Surviving are his wife of Ogden, Utah; one son, Daniel (DeAnne) Eppich; one daughter, Kathleen (Bud) Latturner; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Steve L. Eppich; his parents, his brothers, Rosslyn M. Eppich, Irel M. Eppich, and Sheldon M. Eppich.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.   Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
