HOOPER a€" Eskild Peter Hansen, Jr., 68, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in Layton.

He was born January 13, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, a son of Eskild Peter Sr. and Henrietta Doll Hansen.

Eskild was a member of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam.

He was an aircraft mechanic at Hill Air Force Base prior to his retirement.

Eskild enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He was a member of the Utah Airboat Association.

Surviving are his son, Eskild Peter Hansen III, Midvale, UT; Menah Christina Strong, Roy, UT; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothea and Helen (Mac).

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother Bruce.

At his request, no services will be held.
