Eric Ryan Hardin

Our family has suffered a devastating loss. Our brother Eric Ryan Hardin passed away in Ogden, Utah on May 2nd, 2026 at the age of 38. 

Eric was born in Ogden, Utah on September 12, 1987 to Jim and Melanie Hardin. He was the youngest child of four, with three older sisters. He was such a great sport putting up with all of us girls growing up. 

Eric loved spending time with his friends and family. He had a sweet dog named Duke who he loved like his child. He loved snowboarding, wakeboarding, adventures on his side by side, music, and his Greenbay Packers. 

Eric had the best sense of humor. He had the most contagious laugh and the biggest smile. If you were with Eric you were constantly laughing. He always had the most hilarious Halloween costumes! He was sweet, kind, and would do anything for anyone. 

Eric was the best brother to his three sisters; Jen [Nani], Nikki [Briggs] and Wendi [Mikey]. He was an uncle to seven nieces and nephews; Kaden, Ryder, Mya, Breckin, Bentley, Makayla, and Macy. They adored him and are going to miss him so much. 

Eric was preceded in death by his mother and father, Jim and Melanie Hardin as well as numerous extended family members. 

Eric we are absolutely heartbroken by your loss. We will celebrate you and cherish every moment we were lucky enough to have you until we see you again. We love you and will miss you so much Erckel!
