Eric William Blowers

Eric William Blowers, age 91, of Layton, passed away September 5, 2025. Graveside services will be Saturday September 13, 2025, at Lindquist’s Layton Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Layton Memorial Park.

Eric was preceded in death by his wife, Alice May Daniels Blowers; his parents, Charles Amos Blowers and Gladys Emma Barley; his daughter-in-law, Vickie Blowers; and his grandson, Nate Blowers.

Survivors include his daughter, Jackie Lambert (Mark); his sons, Gary Blowers (Joyce), Morris Blowers, and David Blowers (Sherry); 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Eric was born and raised in England. He married Alice May Daniels on December 11, 1954. In 1956 they emigrated to Utah where they raised their four children. He was a loving dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and great-great-grandpa.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin. He was a hard worker who worked for years as a meat cutter at Smith’s.

Thanks to everyone from Independence Home Health & Hospice, especially Kalley and Kristy, and Raintree Assisted Living, who cared for Eric in his last days and weeks.
